WinMotive

Terms & Conditions

Competition rules and legal terms.

Last updated: 26 Apr 26 @ 15:48
These terms are starter website terms for WinMotive and should be reviewed by a UK solicitor before public launch. They are written for a skill-based prize competition website where customers pay for entries and complete a skill game.
1. Promoter
The promoter is WinMotive. Contact details, support email and registered business information should be kept up to date in the admin settings and legal copy.
2. Eligibility
Entrants must be 18 or over, resident in an eligible location and legally able to enter paid skill competitions. WinMotive may request age, identity and address checks before releasing any prize.
3. Skill Game Entry
Each paid entry requires the entrant to complete the skill game assigned to the prize. For Apex Point, the entrant places a final marker on the image. No hints, guide lines or target positions are shown to customers.
4. Winner Selection
The valid entry closest to the admin-set target wins. If there are multiple equally closest entries, WinMotive may run a live head-to-head tie-breaker or another fair skill-based tie-break process.
5. Ticket Numbers
Ticket numbers are generated after successful checkout. Staff can use the ticket lookup system to verify entries and winners.
6. Site Credit
Customers may use account credit against eligible purchases. If the customer toggles site credit on at checkout, the order total is reduced by the available credit. Any remaining balance is paid through the payment provider.
7. Prize Availability
Prize details, values, cash alternatives and images are displayed on the relevant competition page. If a listed prize becomes unavailable, WinMotive may provide a reasonable equivalent or the stated cash alternative where offered.
8. Closing Dates
Competitions close at the displayed date/time unless extended, cancelled or ended early in line with the published competition rules.
9. Refunds
Refunds are considered where required by law or where a payment error has occurred. Used entries may not be refundable once submitted into an active competition unless legally required.
10. Fair Use
Accounts suspected of fraud, automated entries, payment abuse, chargeback abuse or manipulation of the skill game may be suspended or voided.
11. Changes
WinMotive may update these terms. The latest version is shown through the legal modal across the website.
